Small die gouge in the field WSW from the 1 in the date. Die gouge under 19 in the date. Die gouge above first 8 in the date. Die gouge well above 9 in the date at the level of Lincoln’s chin. \\
**Reverse:** 
Die gouge in the field when looking well east of the M in UNUM or SE from the S in PLURIBUS. Die gouge above O in ONE. Vertical die scratch runs to the rim below the lower left branch of N in ONE. Die scratch runs north from first T in STATES to the rim. \\
