**Obverse:** 
**Stage A:** Die gouge under left side of U in TRUST. 
**Stage B:** Die chip at the left lower side of the first 8 in the date. Strong die scratches north from IN. Heavy die gouge in field behind Lincoln’s head. Die gouge under left side of U in TRUST still visible. \\
**Reverse:** 
**Stage A:** Heavy die scratches run directly north left of memorial base and column 1. Die scratches run north to south through the majority of the reverse. 
**Stage B:** Likely new reverse. Die chip centered at the top of the S in PLURIBUS. Die gouge under I in AMERICA. Die gouge in bay 5 at level of Lincoln’s head. \\
