NW/SE die scratch between the lower opening of the 3 in the date. **Stage C:** Stage B lathe lines weak but still present. Other Stage B markers abraded away. NW/SE die scratch in front of the bridge of the nose. \\ **Reverse:** **Stage A:** N/S die scratch right of the E in FIVE. E/W die scratch right of the S mintmark. **Stage B:** Short die scratch SW from the left center of the first S in STATES. NW/SE die scratch above center between the TA of STATES. Two short E/W die scratches inside the Bison’s tail below center. Die scratch SE from the upper center of the E in CENTS.
