Die scratch SE from the rip of the bust. **Stage C:** Two die gouges to the lower left of the I in LIBERTY. **Stage D:** Second Obverse: WDDO-034. Series of light, mostly NNE/SSW, die scratches on either side of the I in LIBERTY. \\ **Reverse:** **Stage A:** Flared G Designer’s Initials Very short die scratches, in the form of dashes, beginning at the left lower side of the U in UNITED then ascending upward until they reach the upper left of the A in STATES, then descending downward again through most of the lower letters of TES of STATES, OF and AMERICA. Die scratches through the top of HALF and DOLLAR. Die gouge on the left side of the fifth ray between the star and EPU. **Stage B:** Stage A die scratches at USA are weaker. Stage A die scratches at HALF DOLLAR abraded away. Die gouge still present. Light NE/SW die scratches throughout the field. Die scratch SE from the lower right of the last A in AMERICA. V-shaped die scratch above the H of HALF.
