Die Markers:
Obverse: Stage A: Heavy die dents at the rim below the E in QUARTER and the D in DOLLAR. Numerous lighter die dents at the rim above the AMER in AMERICA. Several parallel die scratches through the front tip of the bust. Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Die chip formed on the bottom of the bust above the D in DOLLAR.
Reverse: Stage A: Heavy die damage throughout the reverse, mainly die scratches and gouges towards the center. Large die gouge takes up most of the fourth window in the first row. Stage B: Stage A markers still present. Die damage partially abraded away.
