Obverse: Long die scratch runs SW from the lower lip. Die gouge inside the lower right of the D in UNITED. Die gouge touches the bottom of the upper portion of the C in AMERICA.
Reverse: Large die chips on the top of the heron. Small die gouge above the horizon to the far left.

Die gouge between the C and A in AMERICA. Numerous die gouges in the upper hair. Die gouge inside the D in UNITED. Die gouge below the E in UNITED. Die gouge touches the top right of the N in UNITED.
Reverse: Stage A: Die break on the top of the heron. Stage B: New die break on the tail feathers. Die gouge below the S in ISLAND. Three die gouges in the field below the beak. Die gouge above the building.

Obverse: Die gouge above the O in DOLLAR. Die gouge left of the mintmark P. Die gouge far to the left of the first T in TRUST. Die gouge above and to the left of the G in GOD. Die gouge between the tops of the E and R in AMERICA. Die gouge inside the upper portion of the first S in STATES. Die gouge touches the lower left of the D in UNITED.
Reverse: Die cracks on the top of the heron. Two die gouges to the left of the building. A die gouge in the waves far above the designers' initials PH. Die gouge in the field at around 2:30.

Obverse: Die gouge above horizontal bar of the second L in DOLLAR. Die gouge between the I and T in UNITED.
Reverse: Die cracks on the top of the heron. Die gouge northeast of the designers' initials CTC.

Obverse: Weak die scratch extends west from the I in IN.
Reverse: Die break on the top of the heron. Die gouge in the field below the K in BLOCK. Die gouges touches the top of the tail feathers.

Obverse: Many strong die scratches throughout the obverse. Strong die gouges below the RT in LIBERTY. Die gouge on the bust to the right of the designers initials JF. Strong die gouge below the R in AMERICA.
Reverse: Die break on the top of the heron.

SDDR-009 The second feather above the horizon is doubled to the east. Note: Some examples are known with machine doubling affecting the doubled feather, which makes it appear quadrupled.

Obverse: None known.
Reverse: Die break on the top of the heron. Pre-die break depression on the wing of the heron near its head. Die gouge above the horizon below the wing.
